Nice to meet you

Hi, I'm Emily! Norfolk Farm is named after my homeland – the pastoral region of Norfolk, England. I started growing food at age 11 in Texas, and went on to study sustainability, farming, and food systems at Arizona State University. While my desire to work the land grew, I was still tied to big city jobs as I developed a career in filmmaking and online education – touring nationally as a photographer, cutting my teeth at VICE Media in LA, and part of the founding team at Masterclass in 2015. In 2019, I left California, headed North to Washington, and fell in love with Skagit Valley. I moved to the region for the soil, and took a farming practicum at Viva Farms. Last year, I secured a little plot to farm on and the rest is history!

I am focused on growing unique and heirloom mixed vegetables and fruits that you might not find at the grocery store as well as cut flowers. I grow what I love to cook: beautiful and delicious things.
